Altair arrived in [[Damascus]], having received his mission from [[Rashid ad-Din Sinan|Al Mualim]], to assassinate [[Tamir]] the black marketeer. Making his way through the city, he arrived at the [[Assassin's Bureau]] and spoke with its [[Rafiq|leader]].
During his investigation into [[Tamir]], Altaïr stumbled upon two civilians speaking of a letter to be delivered to a merchant. The [[Assassins|Assassin]] took notice of this and [[Pickpocketing|pickpocketed]] the letter from its carrier.

Pickpocketing (Tamir) was a virtual representation of one of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.

Description

During his investigation into Tamir, Altaïr stumbled upon two civilians speaking of a letter to be delivered to a merchant. The Assassin took notice of this and pickpocketed the letter from its carrier.
