Pickpocketing

Pickpocketing is very vital thing in Assassin's Creed as you can get various items such as throwing knives from doing this. It is also the only way to re-stock Throwing Knives, apart from going to Masyaf.

How to Pick Pocket

To pick pocket press the right shoulder button. (the same button used to use "insocial" moves) when targeting the victim, get a few paces behind them and walk up to them and your hands will be extended, once close enough you will grab the victims bag and carried out a successful Pickpocket.

On the 360 press the LT to lock on your victum. After the cutseen lock on again and follow the victum. When you are near press B to grab the person. Pressing B makes your hand stretch out, you need to make contact with the victum.

When not to Pickpocket

There are various scenarios in which a pickpoket should not be attempted unless you want to start a fight.

• The victim stops.
• The victim is facing you.
• The victim is looking behind him.
• You are too close to the victim and he tells you to be gone.
• A guard is very close.

Pickpocketing Achievement

On the 360 version you can get an achievement by pickpocketing 200 knives.
