"Everyone in this damned town is trying to steal my fishing spot. None of them will stop me today! You! You don't like fishing, do you?"
―Beaubien upon meeting Shay Cormac.[src]

Philippe Beaubien was a Canadian fisherman in St. John's during the mid-18th century.

Beaubien was initially a supplier for the Colonial Brotherhood of Assassins, although he later turned to the life of a fisherman, cutting off contact with his former allies.

During the Seven Years' War, he collaborated with the British. Worried that Beaubien would reveal secrets about them, the Assassins sent several agents to kill him. However, the Templar Shay Cormac intercepted the contract to kill Beaubien, and protected him from the Assassins.
