Peter Chamberlaine (1660s – 1718) was a British Commodore, assigned to fight piracy in the West Indies in the early 18th century alongside Governor Woodes Rogers.

Chamberlaine, however, had a burning hatred for pirates, as well as for his civilian superior, and decided to take matters into his own hands.
