Perieres was a King of Messene in Greek mythology. He was the first husband of Gorgophone, with whom they had several children, including possibly Tyndareus.

Legacy

During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra found a tablet describing Perieres life while exploring an ancient vault beneath the Foundry of Hephaistos.[1]
