Paris is a city in France. During the Renaissance, a guild of the Assassin Order was based in the city and received aid from Ezio Auditore's Italian guild for several important assassination contracts.
In 1527, Giovanni Borgia and Maria Amiel traveled to Paris in order to find the second half of The Book, which was used by Nicolas Flamel in order to turn lead into gold but they remained unsuccessful.
Sometime towards the end of the 19th century, Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers, accompanied by the disembodied being of William Robert Woodman, met one of the Secret Chiefs in Paris who informed him that their partnership with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn had ended.
