Animus data fragments were small shard-like objects spread throughout the cities of Constantinople and Cappadocia during Desmond Miles' Animus sessions in Assassin's Creed Revelations. When certain amounts of these were collected, Desmond could access a chapter of "Desmond's Journey" by walking through doors in Animus Island.[1]

Trivia

  • There is an Achievement for collecting all Animus data fragments, called "Capped" (20G; Bronze Trophy).
  • The Animus data fragments looks like the loading bar from Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
  • There are 100 Animus data fragments spread throughout Constantinople in total.
