Nir the Whirling Blades (died c. 420s BCE) was a mercenary who operated in Greece in 5th century BCE.
Biography
It is believed that Nir was quite the whirlwind of blades. Whenever she killed someone, she would effortlessly cut them to pieces. After the job was done she would usually bring back the head as proof to those who hired her. As for the heads, she kept them as trophies.
During the Peloponnesian War he crossed paths with the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
