Neema was the daughter of Darius, the assassin of Xerxes I of Persia, who lived during the 5th century BCE.
As a consequence of Darius' failed assassination of King Artaxerxes I of Persia, Neema and her family were branded as traitors and were forced to leave Persia while being pursued by the Order of the Ancients. Neema, her mother and siblings were later killed, with the exception of Natakas and Darius who fled to Greece. After settling in a hideout in Makedonia Natakas created a small memorial for Neema on the cliff outside.[1]
