Nebetia was an Egyptian woman who lived during the mid-1st century BCE.
Some time after 55 BCE, Nebetia met the Roman military tribune Lucius Septimius, a leading figure of the Gabiniani guarding the Ptolemaic royal family. Septimius fell in love with the city of Alexandria and Nebetia, and the two eventually married.[1]
