Mut's Sorrow was a legendary shield found in Heb Sed during the 1st century BCE, it was attributed to Mut the mother-goddess and progenitor of everything. The Hidden One Bayek was awarded this shield after helping Setna with his trials in order to pursue his path with his father's approval.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The shield's appearance seems to be designed in the style of wings, referencing the goddess Mut who was often depicted as having wings of a vulture in Egyptian art.
