The musket is a smoothbore firearm used by various types of guards, Templar and Assassin alike.

Whereas Ezio didn't pick up muskets and use them in battle, the Assassin Connor was known to use discarded muskets as weapons.

It makes a prominent appearance in Assassin's Creed III, as one of the dominant weapons used in the American Revolution.
