Mochizuki Chiyome was a noblewoman who lived during Japan's Sengoku period. She was credited with creating an all-female group of ninja, named kunoichi, for her uncle-in-law, Takeda Shingen. Used as spies and assassins, there were hundreds of Chiyome's girls and they were rumored for being everywere, posing as courriers, servants and even as prostitutes.
