The Metropolitan Police Service, often known simply as "the Met", and sometimes as "Scotland Yard", after their headquarters, is a police force based in the city of London, United Kingdom. Headquartered at Scotland Yard, the Met was responsible for maintaining the peace through the city, and ensuring all laws were followed. Most of his agents were stubborn, robust and grumpy, others like Inspector Abberline were noble and safe.
History
In 1868, a young Metropolitan Police officer named Frederick Abberline, who was looking to build his reputation, enlisted the aid of two British Assassins – the twins Jacob and Evie Frye – in solving a number of crimes.[1] Later in the 1888, Abberline led the police investigation and pursuit of the infamous serial killer "Jack the Ripper".[2]
