Marquis (real name: Charles de la Motte) is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. This character is available along with the downloadable content The Da Vinci Disappearance. He appears to wield a sabre.

Unique Moves

Dodge and Hit (High Profile)

The Marquis runs up to his target and does a swift downward slash while the target dodges, a second after the Marquis commits a unexpected upward slash which results in the victom flipping backwards to their death.

Trivia

"Marquis" is the French denomination for Marquess, a European title of nobility.
The Marquis is confirmed as French, as in Project Legacy, Charles de la Motte challenges Cesare Borgia's Italian troops with his own French troops to a tournament to see which side is more chivalrous.
He is the first multiplayer character that was featured on Project Legacy before being playable in Assassin's Creed:Brotherhodd.
