"You are to meet Messer (Mister) Machiavelli in front of the Mausoleo di Augusto. Let me help you get dressed."
―Margherita passing on Machiavelli's message to Ezio Auditore, 1500[src]

Margherita dei Campi was a countess of Rome during the Renaissance.[1]

Biography

Aiding the Assassins

In January 1500, the Assassin Niccolò Machiavelli brought Ezio Auditore da Firenze to her house in the northern section of the Campagna district, where he could recover from the wounds he had suffered in the Siege of Monteriggioni.[2]

There, Margherita tended to his wounds, and after Ezio had regained consciousness, she handed him the robes and equipment provided by Machiavelli. She then directed him to the Mausoleo di Augusto, where he was to meet with Machiavelli.[2]
