Herodotos and Kassandra at the Lion

The Lion of Leonidas was a statue of a lion set where King Leonidas I of Sparta was laid to rest, following the Battle of Thermopylae, in Malis, Greece.

At some point during 431 BCE, the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the place, meeting with Herodotos.[1]
