Limassol is a city in Cyprus, and a location in Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines. It is located between the ancient cities of Amathus (which was ruined by Richard the Lionheart in 1191) and Curium. The city itself was probably built after the destruction of Amathus, but ancient graves and relics found there suggest that the site was inhabited as early as 2000 B.C.
In 1191, the city of Limassol was under control of the Templar Order, which ruled the populace with an iron fist. The supreme ruler of Cyprus, including Limassol, was Armand Bouchart; Grand Master of the Templar Order.
