Amienois

Amienois was a historical region of France which comprised the areas between Paris and Evresin, centered on the township of Amiens, home to a famous amphitheater dating from the Gallo-Roman period. During the 9th century, Amienois contained the ancestral lands of Odo of France's family and was famed for its colored textiles. Charles the Fat was said to have loved the region.[1]
