Le Secret de Camerone (Eng: The Secret of Camarón) is a virtual reality game of which a Demo is available on iOS/Android and created by Hootside for the Foreign Legion Museum in Aubagne, France. First released in 2019, it was reconducted in 2022.
Story
30 April 1863, 7AM, a fight breaks out between a unit of the Foreign Legion and liberal troops of the Mexican government during the French expedition to Mexico. These 24 hours of clashes made this battle famous, where Captain Danjou, who died in combat, left behind a powerful relic, leading to the historical reputation of the Battle of Camarón. The story goes that it is present here, at the Foreign Legion Museum in Aubagne. Equipped with the eagle vision function, you will have to collect clues in real time in the Foreign Legion Museum, essential to carry out your mission: reconstruct the memory of these ancestors using the Animus and find the location of the artifact, ensuring that it will be safe. Immerse yourself in an augmented reality adventure, following in the footsteps of Captain Jean Danjou and Corporal Louis Philippe Maine.[1]
