Lato was an ancient city located within the Minotaur Hills region of Pephka, Greece.

History

In the 5th century BCE, its locals were mesmerized by the myth of the Minotaur that was part of Cretan tradition, and they consequently erected a shrine to the beast which attracted plenty of tourism.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra came to the city.[1]
