Kephalos of Syracuse (fl. 5th century BCE) was a Syracusan blacksmith who lived during the 5th century BCE. He was the father of the famed orator Lysias.

He was invited by the Athenian statesman Perikles to move to Athens in order to open a weapons workshop. Kephalos accepted the offer and settled in the Port of Piraeus, mainly working on the production of shields.[1]
