Kastalian Fountain

The Kastalian Fountain is a small spring situated near Delphi in the slopes of Mount Parnassos in Greece. Pilgrims, the Pythia, and priests alike were required to cleanse themselves at the fountain before consulting the oracle.

During the Peloponnesian War, the spring was visited by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.[1]
