Jupiter, previously known as Tinia, was a member of the First Civilization. He was mentioned by Minerva during her warning to Desmond Miles. Jupiter is a part of the Capitoline Triad, a trio consisiting also of Juno and Minerva. They were the three supreme deities worshipped by the ancient Romans, Jupiter being the head of all of the gods (also known as Zeusin grrek mythology). Jupiter is referred to as the "Father of Gods and men."
