The Jotun Trousers were a pair of boots and pants made by the jötnar, the ice giants of Jötunheimr in Norse mythology. The set of clothes were designed to instill dread in all onlookers.
In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's travels throughout Svartálfaheimr, the All-Father collected this piece from defeating Iaten, a member of Suttungr's Outriders. He would also collect the other pieces from the same armor set, by defeating the other members of the spy group.[1]
