The Jorvik Theatre was a theatre situated in the southern part of Jorvik in Northumbria.
In the 870s, during a Yuletide feast held at the theatre, Eivor Varinsdottir and Ljufvina Bjarmarsdottir traveled there in search of The Vault, the last remaining member of the Order of the Ancients in the city that had infiltrated Jorvik's council. During the feast, the High Reeve Audun revealed himself as The Vault when he ordered his men to kill the attendees, though he was assassinated by Eivor before his plan could succeed.[1] Around the same time, Eivor also recovered a bardiche gifted by Louis the Younger to Ælla of Northumbria, stored in a warehouse in the theatre.[2]
