John de Lancie (born March 20, 1948) is an American actor, originating from Philadelphia. He is best known for playing Q in three of the Star Trek TV series, and has had a prolific career in animation, audio dramas, films, video games and theatre.
On September 21 2011, De Lancie tweeted "For Assassin's Creed fans... just voiced the father of the hero. Again, really nice group to work with.", confirming his role as William Miles.[1]
