John Cockram (1689 – 1719) was a pirate, and close friend and confidant of Benjamin Hornigold. He engaged in piracy for a few years prior to 1718, until he accepted the British Crown's pardon after Woodes Rogers' arrival on Nassau and became a pirate hunter.
He was killed alongside Josiah Burgess in 1719 on the island of Príncipe on the coast of west Africa by Edward Kenway in an attempt to rescue Bartholomew Roberts.
