History
5th century BCE
During the 5th century BCE in Greece, iron was a material used in weapons and armor. During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra acquired iron in varying amounts over the course of her travels.[1]
1st century BCE
In the 1st century BCE Ptolemaic Kingdom, the use of iron was still commonly used in the creation of weapons. The Medjay-turned-Hidden One Bayek acquired bronze in varying amounts over the course of his travels, using it to better his gear. Iron spears, shotels were the most commonly made weapons.[2]
17th century
During the French Revolution, a prisoner wore an iron mask to hide his face.[3]
18th century
A crudely made machete was obtained by the Assassin Adéwalé during the waning days of Piracy.[4] During the American Revolutionary War, iron daggers, tomahawks was obtainable by Ratonhnhaké:ton at any general store.[5]
19th century
During the Industrial Revolution, an iron kukri was crafted and obtained by Jacob and Evie Frye. They also crafted and obtained a set of brass knuckles named the Iron Manacles, it was made out of re-purposed iron from the factories around London. One particular iron factory, Ferris Ironworks was located in Croydon.[6]
