Description
Now that Antonio's theives have set up bonfires for the Flying Machine and time was becoming shorter, Ezio finaly flew across the night sky of Venice, much to the amazment of civilians and guards alike. Ezio used the aid of the bonfires to increase his speed and altitude whenever he requiered too and often kicked off archers from rooftops to prevent them from shooting flaming arrows at him. By the time he reached the Palazzo Ducale, the Flying Machine was already on fire so he quickly decided to jump off it while it crashed and fell into Venetia's waters. Ezio then stealthfully made his way into the Duke's private room, where he was playing chess with Carlo Grimaldi. Unfortuntly, Ezio was too late and the Duke had already drank the poisoned wine. While Carlo tried to escape, he informed all the guards that Ezio had killed the Duke, resulting them to attack him. Ezio however held off the guards and eventrully assassinated Carlo.
Outcome
First Flying Machine destroyed. Templars succeed at killing Giovanni but also lost one of their own.
