Informer

Informants are fellow members of the assassin's guild that can be found within many of the cities in Assassin's Creed. They can offer you aid in your search for information about the whereabouts of your primary assassination targets. However, before you can get this information from them, you have to complete a small task for them. they will ask you to collect a group of hidden flags and return to them within three minutes, or you are tasked with assassinating from two to six people that the informant needs gotten rid of for reasons they explain to you. This is to be done within three to five minutes, or without limitations. When assassinating these guys, you may not be exposed, or else the task is failed.

The location of Informants can be found by climbing to the tops of the View Points within a city and using your Eagle Vision to reveal portions of the city on your map. An inromant may or may not be easy to find, and is also considered as a character within the map. When approaching an informant with a hidden blade, the game would show that it is possible to assassinate the informant. Although the prospect is tempting, it is best you complete the informant's task before trying anything ridiculous with the informant.
