Im-Khent Bow

The Im-Khent Bow was a hunter bow whose design was native to the Im-Khent Nome of Egypt. Residents of that nome relied upon this bow to keep crocodiles at bay whenever they traveled along the Nile, recognizing the prudence in fighting them from a distance.
