The Hôtel des Ambassadeurs is an hôtel particulier in Paris, France.

History

By 1792, the Hôtel was the home to the Comte de Gambais, a French royalist who also worked as a spy for the Austrians. On 2 September 1792, both the Comte and his second-in-command the Vicomte de Gambais were assassinated in the hôtel by a group of Parisian Assassins led by Arno Dorian, effectively dismantling their spy ring.[1]
