Hreidmar's Helmet was a helmet forged forged for Hreiðmarr, the dwarven king of Svartálfaheimr. Cursed by the king's dying words, the helmet slowly drained the wearer's lifeforce unless a "Mótsognir's Clarity" rune was set into it.
In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's travels throughout Svartálfaheimr, the All-Father collected this helmet from Hodda Shelter, along with the other pieces of this armor set. He also managed to acquire a rune to strip the curse from the piece of armor.[1]
