Alonso Fernández de Heredia (unknown – 19 March 1782) was the Spanish Governor of Florida from 1751 to 1758, the first Templar Governor of Florida since Laureano de Torres y Ayala.
He used his military action against the British Empire in Georgia to cover the Templar activites in the Gulf of Mexico, and moved the slaves to the excavation site at Chichen Itza, led by Rafael Joaquín de Ferrer. He was later made Governor of the Yucatan Peninsula thanks to his Templar connections, to protect the site from prying eyes.
