Alkidas Fort

Alkidas Fort was a fort located on the western side of the Petrified Valley on the island of Lesbos, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, finding it to be occupied by bandits. She commenced to kill their leader, free their captives, and claim their valuables. She also discovered one of the Ainigmata Ostraka within the fort.[1]

Trivia
