HMS Courage was a Man O' War in His Majesty's Royal Navy during the early 18th century and sailed in the Caribbean Sea.

HMS Courage carried documents that would implicate merchants and businessmen in illegal activities. However, she was defeated in naval combat by the Jackdaw, captained by pirate Edward Kenway, who had been hired by the Dutch merchant Milo van der Graaff to sink HMS Courage before she could deliver the documents.
