Guild challenges (Brotherhood)

Guild Challenges are activities avaliable to complete in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Completing 10 Guild Challenges will earn the player the "Show Off" Achievement/Trophy.

Assassins Guild

• 25 Apprentices signaled during a fight.

• 15 Arrow Storms.

• 20 Assassin Recruits signaled to kill a target.

• 5 Assassin Recruits signaled within a core memory.

• 5 Recruits raised to the rank of Assassino.

Upon completing all five of these challenges the player unlocks the Assassin's Guild crest as well as Altaïr's Sword at Ezio's hideout.

Mercenaries Guild

• 10 Mercenary groups sent to attack guards.
• 5 Scaffolds destroyed by thrown guards.
• 25 Brutes killed.
• 25 Papal guards killed
• 25 Guards killed while on horseback.*
• 10 Guards air assassinated while on horseback*
• 10 Double Assassinations
• 5 Guards disarmed and killed with their own weapons
• Kill 5 guards in 10 seconds
• 10 Streaks of at least 5 kills
• On horseback means the guards themselves must be on horseback, not Ezio. Also, some guards will start on foot, but jump onto a horse if you are fighting them. These will not count. The guard must have spawned on the horse.

Upon completing all ten of these challenges the player unlock Bartolomeo's Axe at Ezio's hideout.

Courtesans Guild

• 10 Courtesan groups sent to distract guards.
• 10 Enemies evaded using the crowd and other hide spots.
• 20 Enemies stationed at Guard Posts killed using the crossbow without being detected.
• 10 Horses belonging to guards commandeered without killing the rider.
• 5 Dead bodies hidden in wells or haystacks.
• 15 Guards poisoned.
• 20 Guards killed during a smoke bomb attack.
• 10 Guards assassinated from behind.
• 5 Guards assassinated from blind spots

Upon completing all nine of these challenges the player unlock Maria's Dagger at Ezio's hideout.

Thieves Guild

• 10 Thief groups sent to lure guards
• 1 Sprint uninterrupted for 300 meters
• 20 Jump from a horse to a beam
• 40 Leaps of faith
• 1 Perform a dive from a height of 25 meters
• 250 f pick-pocketed (A glitch may occur if a player pick-pockets too many people at the same time, which will cause the player to have unknowingly exceeded the amount. To avoid this, do not pick-pocket people too quickly. This method has yet to be proven reliable.)
• Glide a cumulative total of 500 meters with the parachute
• 25 Guards killed with a ranged weapon
• 5 Guards air assassinated from a beam

Upon completing all nine of these challenges the player unlock La Volpe's Bite at Ezio's hideout.

Tips

• Since assassination from the ground doesn't count towards your progress for the Mercenary challenges specifying 'on horseback,' a good tactic is to either assassinate your targets from a horse (thus stealing their horse) or to kill them with a crossbow.
• The 'kill 25 Brutes' and 'kill 25 Papal Guards' challenges should be fairly easy, and an aggressive player will earn them during the course of a normal playthrough. More stealth-oriented players would do well to look for the group of four Papal Guards that spawn at the entrance to the Vaticano district, or within the district itself, as Papal Guards are found nowhere else in the game outside of story missions.
• Using the Antico district area near the Thieves Guild building is a good strategy for the challenge 'sprint uninterrupted for 300 meters.'
• Getting every Viewpoint will take you more than halfway to the goal of '40 leaps of faith,' and using Leaps as an evasive maneuver in-game should get you the rest of the way.
• A tactic to increase the speed of the Arrow Storm recharge meter is to send 6 Assassins out on missions with similar time limits, then use Arrow Storm right before they're due to come back. When all 6 return near-simultaneously, the meter will recharge fully.
• The challenges do not account for any progress done before renovating the Guilds (and "unlocking" the Assassins Guild), so do not start on them until later in Sequence 3 (after renovating the Courtesan, Mercenary and Thieves' Guilds), and midway through Sequence 4 (the Assassins Guild).
