The Guardian (real name: Odai Dunqas) is a multiplayer character for the upcoming game Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

He was an estranged cousin of a distant Sultan in East Africa, who happened to be the first of the Sennar Sultanate. The Guardian also fervently believes in the Templar ideology: Peace through order and stability. His main weapon is a lance.

Unique Moves

(Low Profile, Front)

The Guardian pulls out his lance and hits them with the blunt end, causing them to stagger. He then ducks beneath the victim and stabs their throat killing the victim by choking on their own blood.

(Low Profile, Back)

The Guardian Pulls out his spear and stabs his victim straight through the chest, while there are still standing the gurdian hits them in the head with the blunt end of his spear, sending his opponent falling to the ground.

Damning Judgement (High Profile, Front)

The Guardian kicks one of his target's feet out from underneath them, sending then kneeling forward on one leg, before forcefully planting his spear into their back, piercing their heart from behind. He then roughly removes his lance, pulling his victim upward slightly and sending their body slumping to the floor.

Disposing Threats (High Profile, Back)

The Guardian runs towards his target from behind with his lance in hand, before propelling himself into the air and bringing the tip of the lance down with a powerful swing, impaling his victim in the back and through the chest. He then twists his lance slightly to dislodge it, before forcefully removing his weapon and sending his target's body falling forward to the floor.

(Bench Kill)

The Guardian grabs his seated target's foot and drags them off the bench, until their head rests against it. Before his victim can do anything to defend themselves, the Guardian forcefully kicks them in the face, violently sending their head backwards and breaking his target's neck on the bench behind them.

(Aerial Kill)

The Guardian jumps from above a rooftop, landing on top of his target, before taking out his lance from his back. Using the momentum of his fall, he forces his lance into his victim's skull, piercing it in the process. Standing up, he removes his lance from the head of his target's dead body before storing it back at his back.

  • He was driven from his home in 1505 by his own family and ended up in Alexandria, where he encountered the teachings of Templar philosophy. He then called himself the Guardian of Truth, as a defender of the Templar's ideals.
  • In the Xbox Live Marketplace, there is a Guardian costume available for purchase, costing 400 Microsoft Points, which fits both male and female avatars.
