The Gothic Armor was a piece of armor made to scare enemies on the battlefield. It was said to be made from nightmares and allegedly required the deaths of sinners in order to upgrade it.

During the Viking expansion into England, the armor was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories in 2020.[1]
