While celebrating the [[Assassin]]'s victory over [[Vieri]], [[Mario]] eventrully shows [[Ezio]] the [[Codex Wall]] and tells him that it is a journal written by a legendary assassin named [[Altair]], and that the Codex symolizes the ways of their creed. He explains that his [[Giovanni Auditore da Firenze|brother]] attempted you obtain the pages with no success. Ezio, feeling like he needs to complete his father's work, decides to search for them during his quest for revenge. Ezio then goes to the only [[view point]] in [[Monteriggioni]] and synchronizes the map. He then finds three codex pages in the town's walls and one out in the country side. Before showing his success to Mario he meets up with his [[Claudia Auditore da Firenze|sister]] where she complains that she now has to deal with the Villa's banking system and explains to Ezio the renovation system, that the more he invests in Monteriggioni, the greater his income shall be. He then meets up with Monteriggioni's architect where he explains to Ezio how to renovate and his contributions will bring back Monteriggioni back to it's former glory. Ezio finnaly goes back to Mario where he hangs the four new Codex pages he just found and is taken by Mario to the secret [[Sanctuary]]. While there Mario explains to Ezio that the sanctuary contains a [[Altairs Armor|a very powerful set of armor]] that can only be unlocked by going to six secret [[Assassin Tombs]] and obtaining six [[Assassin Seals]] on to the Statues of the six legendary assassins in the Sanctuary. While celebrating the Assassin's victory over Vieri de' Pazzi, Mario Auditore eventrully shows Ezio the Codex Wall, and tells him that it is a journal written by a legendary assassin named Altaïr, and that the Codex symolizes the ways of their Creed.
