Giovanni Tornabuoni (22 December 1428 — 17 April 1497) was an Italian merchant, banker and patron of the arts from Florence. His sister was Lucrezia Tornabuoni, the mother of Lorenzo de' Medici. He was the director of the Medici bank in Rome, as treasurer of Pope Sixtus IV.

He was also the tutor of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, son of his fellow banker Giovanni Auditore da Firenze, who would go on to become the Mentor of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins.[1]
