Giovanni Pico della Mirandola (24 February 1463 – 17 November 1494) was an Italian humanist philosopher of the early Renaissance and the author of several occultist writings.

Pico worked under the patronage of the leader of Florence, Lorenzo de' Medici. He was known as a freethinker, and associated with Lorenzo at the latter's Villa Careggi.
