Fuse bomb casings were a component that was used in the crafting of bombs by Ottoman Assassins, which, with their metal shell, rebounded off surfaces and detonated after three seconds. Because of this, they could be aimed around corners, by bouncing them off of a wall or other surface.
In terms of bomb-crafting, fuse casings could be used in conjunction with any gunpowder type or ingredient.
