The Freeman Sword was a wooden sword originally awarded to gladiators when they earned their freedom.
The Medjay Bayek of Siwa was given this sword as a reward for completing the Cyrene Gladiator Arena in 47 BCE.[1]

Trivia
- The Freeman Sword is based on the Xiphos type of sword.
- Its name suggests that it belonged to a Freedman, a former slave who was granted freedom.
