Friedrich der Weise (1463 – 1525) was a German scholar during the Renaissance.
Biography
Sometime around 1500, Friedrich planned to found a school that would question the actions of the Borgia openly. The Borgia tried to prevent this from happening by sending Friedrich a large ammount of money as a bribe.
The Italian Assassins learned of the bribe and Ezio Auditore da Firenze sent a team of Assassin apprentices from the Roman Assassins Guild to intercept the money, having them dress like bandits to prevent the Borgia from growing suspicious. They then used the money as an anonymous gift to Friedrich and his school.
