Frederick Abberline (8 January 1843 – 10 December 1929) was the Chief Inspector for the London Metropolitan Police from 1890 to 1892.

In 1868, while being a young member of Londonian Police trying to make a name for himself, Abberdine enlisted the help of the Frye twins to help him solve some cases.

In 1888, he worked with the Assassin Order to find the serial killer known as Jack the Ripper.
