In Assassin's Creed II, the main character Ezio is better than his ancestor Altaïr at fist fighting: he can perform counters (like headbutts), and steal enemies' weapons to use against them. Eventually blacksmiths will carry a weapon upgrade for the fists, allowing Ezios punches to inflict greater damage.
