The Conflict with Şehzade Ahmet was an event in 1512, in which Assassin Ezio Auditore, assassinated Ahmet with the help of Selim I.

Constantinople

Ezio: "You dissapoint me, Ahmet. Why the Templars? "
Ahmet: "Because I am tired of all these blood feuds that pit father against son, brother against brother."
—Ahmet answering Ezio's question[src]

Subsequently after the assassination of Manuel Palaiologos, Ezio discovered that Ahmet was leading the underground expedition in Cappadocia as the master of the South-Eastern European Templars, claiming that he intended to use the object found inside Altair's library to unite Constantinople under the ruling of the Ottoman empire. He then blackmails Ezio, saying that if Ezio doesn't give him the keys of the library, he would kill Sofia Sartor.

Arriving at the port of Constantinople in 1512, Ezio overhears a herald, from a request by the Ottomans, about the large sum of cash a civilian will get for returning Ezio to the authorities. Upon hearing this, Ezio was unsure whether Ahmet had kidnapped Sofia yet, so he decided to travel to her shop to investigate. He finds the place trashed with multiple bodies of dead Byzantine soldiers and Sofia kidnapped. By employing the use of his Eagle Sense, Ezio finds Yusuf Tazim lying dead on a bench at the fourth room of the shop. Pierced through his body was a dagger, with a note attached, suspecting that he died protecting Sofia. The surrounding Assassins decided to assist Ezio to Arsenal, as it said on the note to do so.

Arsenal Infiltration

Ezio assassinates the surrounding Byzantine guards by himself or his Assassins in the Arsenal Port, leading him to Ahmet hiding in the central fortress. He converses with him about his treachery as a Templar, to which he replies that he was only trying to bring peace. Not in a position to negotiate, Ezio decides to trade with Ahmet: the five keys for Sofia Sartor.

Galata Tower

Ezio, along with the other Assassins, approached Ahmet and brought him the five keys in a red pouch at the border of Constantinople. Once they trade, Ahmet reveals that Sofia is on top the Galata Tower. Once Ezio is able to climb up the Tower he assassinates the guard, seizing the bag covering Sofia’s face and discovering that it was imposter. He saw that the real Sofia was on ground level getting choked by a guard. Suspecting that it would take too long to run there, he parachutes off the structure.

On a Carriage

"All this will. But I need to recover what they have taken."
―Ezio helping Sofia from choking.[src]

Ezio rescues Sofia by assassinating the guard, and told her to get on a carriage. His idea was to take the carriage to stop Ahmet from getting away with the keys. As he does so, Ezio rams Ahmet's carriage, weakening his vehicle. The rope holding onto the other part of the carriage breaks, leaving Ezio hanging on the rope. He parachutes off the rope, kills multiple horsemen with his hook blade, and then uses his parachute to get back up again. After a long trip through the country side, they re-enter the city, as Sofia drives Ezio’s carriage. Ezio jumps down on top of Ahmet, making the two drop down a cliff. As they do, Ezio weakens Ahmet tremendously. When they land, Selim I appears with a large army. He then proceeds to choke Ahmet, and throws him off a cliff, and letting him plummet down to his death.

Aftermath

After ensuring Ahmet's demise and retrieving all the keys, Ezio immediately set off for Masyaf in search of the hidden library.
