Eurybiades was a Spartan admiral who led the combined Greek naval forces during the Second Persian invasion of Greece.

During the Battle of Artemisium, Eurybiades commanded the fleet from his flagship, the Artemision. More than 50 years later, the ship remained in service in the Spartan navy. Dring the Peloponnesian War, the ship was eventually destroyed by the misthios Kassandra.[1]
